One double dare changes Maisy’s life permanently. Accidentally freed the king of Titan from his thousand-year-old prison and magically bonded with him, Maisy had to abandon her old life, for she couldn’t stay long distant from Cronus.
To make things worse, she accidentally released the nine deadly sins from the Pandora box, and only the Titans could save the world from destruction.
I am blown away by the first book in the Titan’s saga, Releasing The Gods. As a fan of both Leia Stone and Jaymin Eve, I had high expectations going into this book, and I am happy to say that the storylines are splendid. I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down.
One of the things that immediately drew me in was the dynamic between the two main characters, Maisey and Cronus. Their constant bickering and banter had me laughing out loud. I loved how their relationship developed throughout the book, from hostiles to allies to something more.
The world-building in this book was also top-notch. The descriptions were vivid, and I felt I was in the story with them on their adventures. Overall, this first instalment has everything you could want in a story – action, romance, humour, and a well-developed world.
However, the excessive use of hashtags bothered me in this story. For that, this book only gets four stars. I hope that the hashtags will be lessened in the next book. It would make the story more enjoyable and less cluttered. Hashtags may have their place in social media, but they seem out of place in a story.
Wrath of The Gods

Maisey thought the worst thing to happen to her was Insta shaming or a midnight shift at the Crab Shack. Until she got dragged into the world of the gods.
Or more specifically, the world of one very annoying, bad at sarcasm, sex on legs, Titan.
Cronus was everything she never knew she wanted, or needed, in her life. And then he just left.
Left her alone, with no idea what’s happening to the world, what’s happening with the sins.
Only someone miscalculated. Whether it was Cronus or the fates, there’s no way they can do this without Maisey.
Turns out, she’s the most important piece

After being briefly cast away from the Titan team on their mission to save the world from the deadly sins, Cronus reluctantly accepts that they need Maisey to complete the task. Now more than ever, they need all the help they can get to contain the evolving threat that will wipe out Earth’s inhabitants.
The second book in this series was a thrilling and captivating read from start to finish. As a fan of the first book, I was eager to see where the story would take Cronus and Maisey next. And I was not disappointed. The authors seamlessly pick up where the first book left off, allowing the reader to dive right back into the world of gods, goddesses, and titans.
One of the things I particularly enjoyed about this book was the addition of new characters and their little backstories. It added depth to the story and kept me engaged as I discovered more about the Titan’s family. I also appreciated how Maisey struggles over the names of the Titans. It added a touch of humour to the story.
As the plot thickens and the stakes get higher, Cronus reveals more of his feelings, and he would do anything to protect Maisey, but so does Maisey. Their love for each other is unique, and I don’t think death will keep them apart.
The downside of this book? I’m still annoyed by the many uses of hashtags in the story.

Revenge of The Gods
After losing Cronus, Maisey had to make a choice; lay broken on the floor and sink into depression, or charge into the underworld and get her man back.
Not one to sit around, she and Hyperion waltz into Thanatos‘s office and demand the god of Death give them safe passage through the seven levels of the underworld to retrieve her love.
It seemed like a good idea at the time… but will Maisey be able to retrieve Cronus and resurrect him in time to finally take out Zeus?
Maybe if a huge wrench hadn’t been thrown in their plans.

My thoughts…
Cronus had died in the aftermath of battling the last deadly sin. However, it wasn’t for long as Maisey embarked on her journey to the underworld to save him. Now, there’s only one last thing to do. Stop Zeus from his madness.
I enjoyed reading Maisey and her grandpa’s quest in the underworld. I also like her ‘solo’ adventure, venturing into the unknown realm. The world-building in this book is phenomenal. Every detail is clear and vivid, making you feel like you are a part of this urban fantasy world.
The plot is masterfully crafted with no dull moments in this book, as every page is filled with action, adventure, and Maisey’s snarkiness. Honestly, I love this book more than the previous two. However, I would still recommend reading the other two books accordingly.
Overall, this book is a thrilling conclusion to the trilogy, with well-developed characters, a captivating plot, and a satisfying ending. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy, mythology, and a female protagonist with the tongue of a viper.
