The sun was just about to rise on the horizon at 8:40 am when dad drove us to Picaddily station to catch the train to Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. We’ve already booked the return tickets online, and when we got to the station, we printed it out. Our train departed at 9:26 am and reached York after 75 minutes journey. Day Out in Manchester
Our trip this time was about to reach the end. With only two more days left In the UK, we went to Manchester city centre by Metro from Hollinwood to Market Street. While I was doing the shopping at Primark, Mike was waiting for me at Shakespeare and had a few pints. Hamburg
Hamburg is the second-largest city in Germany, but with only three nights to spend here, we definitely didn’t have enough time to explore the city. In this trip, Mike’s parents travelling with us too, making this trip merrier 🙂 We reached Leonardo hotel at 6:30 pm after an hour-forty minute flying with Easyjet from Manchester. The hotel is located just 1.4km away from the airport, and it was perfect to spend a night there before moving to the other hotel in the city centre the next morning.

The Ancient City of York
We just arrived yesterday, and today we were already on the move to the ancient city, York! Our train seats from Manchester Picadilly station to York was booked online with First TransPennine Express @ £46 for two. Using the confirmation number given, we printed out the ticket at Picadilly kiosk machine. We left the station at 10:26 am and reached at 11:40 am.
