  • 2 Lost Girl
  • 3 Alpha Girl
  • 4 Mated Girl

Wolf Girl

When my parents were banished from Wolf City before I was born, I thought there was no way I would ever live in a pack again. Cuffed, with my shifter magic bound, I was forced to go to school with witches in order to keep my true nature from coming out.

Then I met him.
Sawyer Hudson.

The Alpha’s son was visiting Delphi Witches’ College and spotted me. He took one look at me, and an hour later, I was being pulled out of school, taken into Wolf City and leaving my parents and everything I knew behind.

It’s the Alpha’s son’s selection year, the year he must pick a mate, and every female aged 18-22 must be in attendance.

I’ve landed myself in the middle of Werewolf Bachelor, and just when I think I’ve got a handle on things, Sawyer releases my cuffs, unbinds my magic, and sees what I really am.

The problem is, I don’t know what this creature is that I transform into. It’s not an ordinary werewolf, that’s for damn sure.

My thoughts…

I’ve been reading Leia Stone’s masterpiece for a while now, finishing from one series to another, and I find that her writing style and contents suit my taste. I love it being fast-paced and action-packed, and it drives me crazy when the book ends up on a massive cliffhanger, just like this book.

The content of this Wolf Girl book is easy to read, fun and engaging. The attraction and how the relationship progresses between Demi and Sawyer is sweet and cute, and I love the friendship between Sage and Demi. I wish Demi’s childhood friend, Raven, would also be taking part in the story.

If you’re fully invested in the story, the ending in this book will definitely make you pick up the next book pronto!

Lost Girl

I’ve been kidnapped by vampires and Sawyer is under some love spell.

Now I’ve got to traipse through the entire Magic Lands without getting killed to make it back to Werewolf City… hopefully in one piece.

Everything would have worked out as planned if Sawyer hadn’t gone on another revenge killing spree in my honor.

Now the entire magical world is at war, and my True Mate and I are stuck in the middle of it.

It’s just another Monday.

My thoughts…

I read this book in one sitting because it’s so short, or maybe I read it too fast! There are so many actions in this book, dangerous adventures for Demi traversing the unfamiliar lands, and new friends to be made. I find myself unable to stop reading the story. But again, the book ended with the killer cliffhangers, in which, of course, it made me pick up the next book immediately.

The situation I find ridiculous in the story was during Sawyer’s mind texting Demi. We read that he had been trying hard to contact Demi and was going insane without her. But when he finally managed to get a hold of Demi, Sawyer fell asleep TWICE!

It just sounded awful and made him look uncaring. Leia should have just let Demi end the mind text, explaining that she understood Sawyer hadn’t been sleeping and asked him to sleep.

Alpha Girl

war and I’ll do whatever it takes to turn the tides in the wolves’ favor, even if it means stepping up in my new role.

The Paladins are a secretive people that I know nothing about. What I thought would be a quick trip into their lands turns into a fight for my life. The future Sawyer and I have dreamed of together threatens to crumble.

I’m torn. Do I chose love and a sure future with the man of my dreams, or do I follow my heart and save a dying people I know nothing about, no matter the cost?

Either way I have to make it back to him; I can’t imagine a life in which we don’t exist together.

My thoughts…

Book three is a lovely read. The story does not end with a cliffhanger as well. I really like the spiritual journey part, and the fact that Demi shares those moments with Sage has made it so much more special. I also realised now that Sage is the one who will be beside Demi and not her childhood friend, Raven.

Just like in the Fallen Academy Series, Brie had Shea as the one friend she could rely on and her trusted seraph blade, Sera, who she could communicate in her mind just like Demi’s wolf self in this series. If you haven’t read the series, I recommend them as well.

Since we’re nearing the end of the Wolf Girl story, I wonder what happened to Demi’s Troll friend, Marmal, and if she has received the letter from her. So far, from my understanding, whenever new characters appear in the story, they would play some part later.

So, hopefully, we will hear a story about Marmal again and maybe the Pearl Dragon in the market because the creature was mentioned several times in the previous book. I also hope the other animals will get rescued before the series ends. We do not tolerate animal cruelty!

Mated Girl

I finally made it out of the Dark Woods only to learn that Sawyer is in prison, our people are still at war, and the wolves are hiding underground.

It will take every ounce of strength I have in order to save our people, get my man back, and bring down the queen.

I can’t do this alone, and calling on an old friend proves to be the best decision I could ever make. Nothing will keep me from my mate, not even the magical world’s most high security prison.

My thoughts…

Wow, the ending was fantastic! It has all that I hope to read before concluding the story of Demi and Sawyer. The update on her Troll friend, the Pearl dragon and freeing the animals! In terms of tying up all the loose ends, it was perfect. But it just lacked some details.

For example, she had mailed the ash to Seam. I mean, when did Demi go and retrieve the ashes? After the killing, from her impression, she sounded like she wouldn’t be returning to the Dark Wood.

I looked over his shoulder the entire way, watching the cabin get smaller and eventually fade into the distance.
I would miss this place. As fucked up as that sounded, it was true.

That’s another way to increase the book’s length, to include some details, which is my only complaint with the series – It’s too short. I would also recommend writing a POV of Sawyer and his experience at the prison, meeting the other guys that form the ‘five crew’, which no doubt will increase the volume.

Overall, plots-wise, the Wolf Girl series, by far, is the most exciting story I have ever read from Leia Stone, and I hope the Vampire Hunter Society series, which is related to this world, is as good as this one! I wonder if Demi or Sawyer would make an appearance 🤔.
