Supernatural exists, and the legendary city of Atlantis is resurfacing. Maddison, a newcomer, must quickly learn her power for a chance to win the battle against primordial deities.

Although the author suggests that reading the previous series is not essential before starting this one, I hold a different opinion. Reading them first will make you enjoy the story more and appreciate and comprehend the intricacies of this Supernatural Prison world.

Supernatural Academy: Year One

Maddison James is about to discover some truths about the world.

Firstly … supernaturals exist.

WTF?

Secondly … she is one, even though no one seems to know exactly what kind.

Double WTF.

Thirdly … she’s about to go back to school.

Well, things just got a little more interesting.

The Supernatural Academy is where shifters, vampires, magic users, and fey are educated. Where they are taught about their abilities, and how to function in the human world. Maddison already has the human part down, but this supernatural thing is an entirely new dangerous game.

Example mean girls who can actually turn you into a frog.

Example Asher Locke, a god at the Academy. Not literally … well, who knows for sure. He certainly acts the part, as do all of his minions who worship him.

Asher drives her crazy, because apparently gorgeous and arrogant is her thing. Sparks fly between them, and the more they’re thrown together, the more Asher is determined to figure out what’s been blocking her abilities.

Until the moment the truth is revealed, and they find out nothing in this supernatural world is what they thought.

Including each other.

The Year of Pink is a discovery year.

Since she was seventeen, Maddison Marie James has been constantly on the run, changing her hair colour yearly, living independently and completely unaware of the existence of supernatural beings, including the fact that she is one herself. However, on her twenty-second birthday, the day when she dyed her hair pink, she got caught and brought into the Supernatural Academy.

Maddison’s power has been blocked for some unknown reason, and the academy is trying to figure out her lineage, for her power is unlike anything they have seen before. Before long, she had drawn the attention of the Atlantean group, a pack of five powerful males and the mean girl’s group, the Clovers. But she would also find solace and strength in her newfound friendship.

There is just one thing about this book that gives off enough mystery. The feeling of being impatient to unveil the secret to which race Maddison belongs. Let’s not forget the world buildings, the love interest and the dramas! Thus, the desire to keep reading, unable to put down the book. I love it!

Now halt the meeting and let Maddison change her hair colour first and then we can find out what happens when Atlantis rises again. After that, we might also know whom Shera refers to that only she could control. If the statement concerning Maddison is accurate, perhaps we may also read about who releases her from the stasis in the first place. I can’t wait to read the next instalment!

Supernatural Academy: Year Two

Year Two at the Academy! The year of purple.

Maddison James learned a lot about life last year. Only important stuff, of course. Like how to breathe under water, how to turn an arrow into a weapon, and how to fall in love.

Asher Locke. The one who stole her heart. The one who showed her the truth of her past and … hopefully her future.

Now it’s just time for them to live happily ever after.

Only the gods have different plans. And with Atlantis rising, Maddi isn’t sure she’ll survive long enough to even finish her second year, let alone have any sort of future.

Even worse, the sadistic Atlantean gods want to break her before they kill her. But Maddi has been underestimated before, and she has hidden strengths they’ll never see coming.

Year of purple … bring it on.

This is book two in the Supernatural Academy series. Full length at 105k words.

The Year of Purple is a trial of both physical and mental endurance.

The second book in this series evokes a whirlwind of emotions, from happiness and sadness to hopelessness, anger, and optimism. Make sure to mentally prepare yourself and get enough rest before diving into this book. You never know if you might not be able to resist finishing it all at once!

It has been quite some time since a story has resonated with me so profoundly. This one truly captured my heart. I was wholly engrossed in Maddie and Asher’s relationship as they faced challenges that tested their connection to the extreme. It exceeded all of my expectations and met all of my desires.

Supernatural Academy: Year Three

Year Three at the Academy. The year of Aqua.

Maddison has been fighting the gods from the first moment she found out they existed. Those arrogant and power hungry deities have a plan … a plan that includes destroying everything she holds dear, and she fears that one day soon, they’re going to succeed.

When new information is dropped in her lap, a way to end the gods once and for all, Maddison jumps at the chance. That’s until she finds out that the path to her prize is through a maze of challenges that have stumped all who’ve attempted them before.

Luckily she won’t go alone. She’s been recruited into a girl gang, and with Jessa, Mischa, and Ilia by her side, they might actually have a shot at succeeding. Of course, they didn’t factor in on their mates storming the keep to track them down.

Dragon shifters, Atlantean gods, and a chance to find the ultimate weapon.

Year of aqua … bring it on.

The Year of Aquamarine is when the shit hits the fan.

I must say I regret reading this series first because it’s related to the Supernatural Prison series, and I haven’t read it yet. Judging from the updates and the information gathered from this book, I would prefer to get to know the characters first before reading their latest updates, AKA the babies and who they were with!

Nevertheless, I will have more information once I finish reading the mentioned series and if my judgment stands. If there’s no further update from me, and if you are like me, who doesn’t like to have any spoilers in the books, you know which series you need to read first.😜

Overall, the story was interesting. I love the concept of Atlantis rising and the involvement of Gods and Goddesses. I enjoy reading about the preparation for the impending wars, the journey to the trial, the afterlife, and the friendship that formed between them all.

What I disliked was the descriptive sex scenes throughout the books and the level of possessiveness from the males in the stories. The growl was quite annoying. 🐺🐺
