The Hunt

Move over Buffy, there’s a new slayer in town…

And I’m going to hunt down every bloodsucker until I find the bastard that murdered my parents.

After spending three years as a recruit training to kill wayward vampires, it’s finally graduation day. Now I’ll be leading an elite team, assembled by the Royal vampire queen herself.

Everything is going according to plan until I meet him. He might be charming, witty, and sexy, but he’s everything I hate—a vampire.

My enemy.

Our connection is undeniable, but I refuse to submit.

My whole life I’d been trained to hate fangers but teaming up with him might be the only way to get my revenge and save the humans from the rebel vampires after the queen’s throne.

And more than that, he might be the key to bringing back something I thought I’d lost forever.

I love reading the books set in the captivating World of Azar. It’s always exciting to catch up with familiar characters from previous series and see where their new adventures take them. In this case, we have Ransom, a character from the Wolfish series who sacrificed himself to save Sierra but was brought back to life as a vampire.

On the other hand, there’s a new female lead named Phoenix, a werewolf cast out from Moon Valley. The mystery surrounding her family’s exile adds another layer of intrigue to the story. Could it be related to her unique abilities?

The plot features a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance and a thrilling undercover operation. Fans of the Hitched series will also get to see the next generation of the original couple in this exciting new tale.

Kiss of Death

I never should’ve trusted him.

My entire life I was certain of one thing: vampires were the enemy. Then I met him and let my guard down. That witty banter, those mischievous eyes and gorgeous smile lulled me into complacency. Now I was a prisoner, captured by the very vampire who was responsible for my parents’ death. The rebel king wants to use my wolf to take down the Royal queen, but I refuse to become his assassin.

With the help of an unlikely ally, I manage to break free. A normal person with a target on their back would hide, but that’s not my thing. I’m going back to get my revenge even if that means partnering up with a stupidly attractive vampire. This time, I won’t fall for his advances despite the mystical bond pulling us together.

Between unearthing family secrets, battling fangers, and squashing unwanted advances from a certain vampire, things go from bad to worse. There’s a war coming, and as it turns out, I’m the key to stopping it.

Because surprise, surprise, there’s someone far scarier than the rebel king out there, and he wants me.

Exciting catch-ups are in store with familiar characters like Fenix, Kimmie-Jayne, Luciano, Hunter, Sierra and the mention of Azara. Though, I’m particularly curious about what happened to Fenix’s twin, as we haven’t heard about him in a long time.

The thrilling twists and turns and the revelation right at the end of this book two excite me. With Phoenix’s precarious situation, the addition of new allies is a welcome development.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Handsome Ransom gets back his soul and solidifies the bond between the two. While the story may be somewhat spicier than before, the constant back and forth is starting to wear me out!

Blood Bonds

Lies run deeper than blood.

Everything I thought I knew about my life was a lie. Now I’m the only one left to assemble the broken pieces.

With new mystical powers and both sides of fangers on my tail, my best option is to run, but I can’t. Not when the vampire who killed my “parents” is trying to raise the god of death. If he succeeds in resurrecting the immortal who sired all vamps, all of Azar is royally screwed.

And here’s the kicker—the rebel king needs my blood to do it.

As if things weren’t complicated enough, I still have a blossoming mate bond to a vampire and his dead wolf to deal with. I know I shouldn’t be with him, but every bone in my body compels me to his. I can’t fight the irresistible pull to complete our bond any longer, but what will happen when we do?

I doubt we’ll get our happily ever after when the god of death sets us in his immortal sights.

The story is full of excitement, tough choices, and intense moments. I love how all the characters unite to take down the villain. However, the sudden death of a character caught me off guard. Just when things were looking up, it was a heartbreaking twist.

The mystery lingers in the air – what is Phoenix’s true purpose? How will they overcome Thanatos? Will Phoenix and Ransom’s connection withstand the challenges ahead and are they going to finally seal the bond? All will be revealed in the final book and I’m excited to find out!

Make sure to read the earlier series set within the World of Azar before diving into Vampish, as many familiar characters make a comeback or are referenced throughout the story. If you skip them, you’ll be missing out on all the fun! Hope you’re having a blast like I am! 😁.

Blood Mate

Death has come for us.

With Ransom in Thanatos’s hands, the worst has happened. The god of death has everything he needs to break the shadow curse and loose the starving fangers on the innocents of Azar.

I can’t let that happen. The serviles grow more restless, raiding the borders, and the vampire queen is powerless against them. Now, it’s a race against the clock to free Ransom and prevent an all-out war. Without my fated mate at my side, I can barely breathe, let alone lead the sicari.

I have to find the strength because there’s nothing I won’t do to get Ransom back. He promised me forever, and I’m holding him to it. Even if it means taking down the mother fangin’ god of death.

I’m so impressed with how Ransom has grown in this final book. He’s taken on more responsibility, but he hasn’t lost his fun-loving, protective, and selfless nature. And Phoenix just keeps getting stronger!

The final showdown with the villain took me by surprise, I was anticipating a different resolution given the title ‘Vampish’. I had assumed Phoenix would make the ultimate sacrifice and become a Vampire!

Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and I can’t wait to delve deeper into Attie and Thanatos’ stories next. I’m certain Luna will make an appearance too, shedding light on how it all began. I’m also hoping to read about the firstborn and Lucifer as the Godfather🤞.

Another thing is that it’s awesome to see the old characters come together to defeat the villain, and I hope this concept carries over to the next series! The mention of Flare in the plot just as I was thinking about him has me curious about the twin sisters. Any news on them?
