Rejected Mate

Kole Winterclaw is a god among the wolves of the Blood Moon Pack. As heir to the throne, he is powerful, gorgeous, and of course, every she-wolf in Moon Valley wants to do him. Except for me.

You see, I’m a half-blood. An outcast. Because I can’t shift.

I’ve spent the last three years in wolf territory hiding out, keeping my head down until I can return home to the human realm.

Then one day, the wolfy mate bond triggers and everything changes. Because guess who is my fated mate?

I wish I could say there’s a happy ending, but that only happens in fairy tales.

This is a delightful prequel to the series! It reveals the backstory of Aspen, explaining her motivations for joining the reality show and the events that unfolded between her and Knox, one of the bachelors in Hitched Live.

By the time I finished the story, I couldn’t resist jumping into a few chapters of the first book in the Hitched Live series, Sweet Revenge. It’s so addictive that I could hardly hold back from consuming the entire book in one go, but I knew I needed to take a breather and write a review first!

Sweet Revenge

One broken human-ish girl.

Twelve gorgeous supernatural bachelors.

A paranormal dating game with bite. What’s a half-wolf girl to do when her fated mate rejects her?

Apparently, go on a supernatural reality dating show. Twelve hunky bachelors are vying for my attention and my heart. Including my ex’s twin brother… It’s the perfect recipe for revenge.

But my desire to get back at those who hurt me is a lot harder with all the drama the other suitors bring. And when I start developing real feelings for the man who should be my enemy. Nothing feels better than getting sweet revenge…

Until you fall in love with your target.

If you’re familiar with the Hitched series, you might spot some similarities in the plot. However, there’s a key difference: Aspen, the main character, is already aware of the supernatural beings, whereas Kimmie-Jayne is just beginning to discover this fascinating World of Azar.

With 12 bachelors to remember, it can be a bit tricky to recall all their names and guess their supernatural house at first. However, the ones that really stand out to me, and are often talked about, are likely the top 5! 😂

I appreciate that the author took the time to include pictures and some details about the bachelor at the end of the story. However, I found it a bit disappointing that when reading on my Kindle, the images are in black and white, and I can’t zoom in to see the finer details. However, that’s not something that will stop me from enjoying the story.

I’m curious about one thing though, what’s the timeline for this story? From what I can gather, it seems to align with the timeline of the Vampish series. I might be mistaken, but that’s just my hunch! 😁

If you’re a fan of the Hitched series or enjoy the beings from the world of Azar, you won’t want to miss the first book of the Hitched Live series, Sweet Revenge. It features the theme of possible enemies turning into lovers, some mild steamy moments, and plenty of mysteries to unravel. Overall, it’s a delightful and entertaining read!

Wicked Games

Who knew a dating game would be so dangerous?

With the murder attempts behind us, I just want to focus on getting to know these bachelors. Fun not forever, lust not love. That’s my motto, and I plan on sticking to it.

Until some of these males start sneaking their way into my heart. A tiger, a dragon, an angel — who can keep them all straight? Then there’s my ex’s twin. He has no right to be anywhere near my stupid, fragile heart that suddenly starts beating wildly whenever he’s around.

As if dealing with jealous and possessive alpha males isn’t bad enough, another attack sends everyone at the villa on a tailspin. It’s time for the truth about these bachelors to come out before we have another dead body on our hands. Then on to the family visits!

Aspen’s pursuit of revenge has taken an unexpected turn! Her resolve is waning as her heart once again beats for love. In this second instalment, the elimination rounds help narrow the field to the top four amidst the dramas.

The story also offers insight into the remaining candidates as Aspen visits their families. However, the two main bachelors with the most drama-filled storylines I have been looking forward to have yet to be visited. We can expect those in the next book, Savage Love!

I cannot wait to find out the true culprit responsible for the attacks on Fallon and the motive behind them. Above all, I am curious about who will be the one for Aspen.

Savage Love

When I entered this competition, I never thought there would be so much at stake. Not only is my poor little battered heart on the line, but so is my life.As the dreaded family visits continue, more devastating secrets are revealed. And one changes everything.

I’m only just recovering from the shock when it’s time for another elimination, and this one proves to be the hardest of all.Broken and torn apart, I’m forced to move on to the worst part of this entire introducing the remaining bachelors to my crazy family. This should go well…

With only two bachelors left, my heart is hopelessly divided. How will I ever be able to choose the one?

Our bachelorette is struggling to choose the right person for her. Fortunately, as readers, we don’t need to be concerned since we still get to explore the possibilities in the sort of ‘WHAT IF’. Personally, I favour the first ending because the second one feels emotionally lacking. This could be due to its shorter chapter length, which makes it harder for me to connect with it.

Although Aspen gets her happily-ever-after in this book, the series isn’t finished yet, as we still have yet to discover the fates of the other bachelors. I also look forward to reading what happens to the bastard Winter Prince. Now that I think about it, the Winter Princes have tough luck in the reality show Hitched. Like Father, Like Son!

Hopefully, we will receive some updates on that, and one day Aspen will uncover the truth that has been kept from her.

Sweet Temptation

A second chance at love? Hell, no.

After getting my heart ripped out last season on Hitched, I finally get the chance to be the one in charge. I’m the new bachelor, and I get my pick of twelve smoking hot supernatural girls. My tiger and I plan on having the time of our lives.

No commitment, no heartbreak, just casual hook-ups with no strings attached.

Sound too good to be true?

Damn, right it is.

On the first night, an unexpected twist has me sharing the girls with an old friend. And we all know nothing good can come from forcing a possessive tiger to share. Especially when I start to develop real feelings for some of the bachelorettes.

As if two bachelors weren’t bad enough, the drama only gets worse when contestants become targeted in a secret plot for revenge.

And I thought the elimination ceremonies were going to be the worst part of the show…

Forget having fun, I just want to make it out of this season alive.

The second season of Hitched Live is slightly different than all the Hitched shows before. This time the reality show includes two bachelors with 12 bachelorettes to choose from. Deacon and Slade are the stars of the show, the previously eliminated bachelors from the first season are back for some fun and perhaps love.

I’m interested to see how this unfolds. What if both of them have feelings for the same bachelorette? What other challenges will arise this time? It’s too soon to predict who will be paired with whom, but I have a general idea.

Each of the 12 bachelorettes has a distinct personality, some slutty than the others even I cannot wait to get rid of. Now we’re down to eight bachelorettes, I can’t wait to learn more about their background stories, particularly Harper, Everly, Chance and even the stylish, Dawn.

As for Rose, I’m fairly certain her parents are Kimmie-Jayne and Fenix. I do recall them having a baby girl named Rose Ashley😉.

Dark Desire

I was supposed to be the bachelor–the only bachelor.

Now I’m sharing the gorgeous contestants with the tiger tool. It’ll be fun he said, no attachment, no strings.

Realms, was he wrong.

With a bachelorette missing, the entire island is in an uproar, and I have a really bad feeling it’s all my fault. I may have ticked off a few demons on my rise to the top. And now, someone’s taking it out on the contestants.

As if dealing with kidnapping and sabotage isn’t bad enough, I never expected I’d have to battle my own heart. The dark, shriveled up thing wasn’t ever supposed to get in the way of my fun. Only now, I’m having feelings…

What’s a demon dark lord bachelor supposed to do?

Staying true to the book’s title, the plot thickens, revealing the darker desires of both the contestants and the bachelors. The situation grows more intriguing as the show nears the end with tensions rising around them.

Secrets are emerging, hearts are laid bare, and it almost appears that the selection of the bachelorettes is a foregone conclusion—unless, of course, it is not, especially with the latest addition to the contestant.

No matter what comes next, I wish for Deacon and Slade to discover the happiness they rightfully deserve. They are delightful characters, and I have always enjoyed reading the banter between them. Their journey of friendship has been entertaining, and I’m happy to see that they have each other’s back now.

One last thing, I feel like I’m missing some key details. When and how did the phrase “Tiger Tool” come about?

True Love

Hold onto your supernatural hats because this is it – the thrilling beginning of the end!

Deacon

Family visits? Check.

The dreaded finale on the horizon? Double-check.

And to top it off, with Dawn missing, my mind’s a mess. I can’t shake her from my thoughts, and I’ve got looming eliminations breathing down my neck.

Now I’m stuck at a crossroads – do I cling to the ghost of what we had, or do I dive into something new in the final weeks?

Just when I think things can’t get crazier, I tumble into the arms of an old love, throwing my heart into a wild tailspin.

And when the producers toss in a final twist, I’m left wrestling with an impossible decision that could either make or break my shot at a happily ever after.

Slade

Whoever said finding love was the easy part clearly never signed up for this dating rollercoaster. Now that I’ve snagged the one – the female I want by my side till the end of eternity – it’s not all moonlight and roses. Nope, sirens are still wailing, and some shadowy figure has it out for me, putting the stakes higher than a she-dragon’s flight.

I used to think true love was impossible, but now that I’ve tasted it, I’ll set all of Azar ablaze if that’s what it takes to secure our happily-ever-after.

In this book, Slade and Deacon continue on their second chance at discovering true love. Each bachelor is now down to their final two possibilities, but from the outset, it’s obvious who their ideal partners are, leaving little space for unexpected twists.

However, if I had the opportunity to change anything, I would prefer to see Deacon be matched with the other female characters, as their connection as shapeshifters makes them a more compatible match. Plus, she has a lovely personality!

Reading the final instalment of the story set in the World of Azar feels surreal. There’s a bittersweet feeling since I have spent four months immersed in this universe. Now, as I prepare to say farewell, I feel reluctant to let go.

Having immersed myself in the journeys of so many characters and watching them overcome obstacles to attain happiness has been incredibly enjoyable. I hope my next book’s adventure is as exhilarating as this one!

Thank you, G.K. DeRosa, for your outstanding writing and for bringing the enchanting World of Azar to life. If you decide to return with more tales from this universe, I hope you will include the Ocean Realm, as we haven’t had any stories set there yet. Additionally, I would be thrilled to read about Astra and Thane’s little Chaos, and the other powerful hybrid children!
